| If
an organization thinks that group hugs and campfire songs will
prepare their teams for success in today’s brutal business
climate, Tough Teams is not a fit. Tough
Teams was created to work with companies that need their projects
and employees to be successful in order to get out ahead of their
competition.
Through the years, Tough Teams has worked with
hundreds of organizations that have tried all of the latest and
greatest training fads, only to find that the success on the job
has increased minimally. These organizations have turned to Tough
Teams to create and implement a clear vision when working with
their project teams. In today’s climate of shrinking resources
and tighter deadlines, Tough Teams has found creative ways to work
with their customers to keep them on the leading edge of the
competitive curve.
Tough Teams understands that it takes more than
work breakdown structures and software tools to control and
complete successful projects. It takes clarity and purpose, and
project teams that are committed to the success of their work, and
of the overall organization. Tough
Teams is successful only if they make their customers, more
focused, more competitive, and more profitable.
Tough Teams Founders:
Bill
Kuehn
President and Senior Facilitator
Bill sees
corporations and their cultures changing tremendously in America today.
They are moving from a near-monopoly environment to a non-regulated, fully
competitive one. His coaching guides teams through this transition from
autocratic "my way or the highway" approaches toward maximizing
each person's performance on the team.
In 1986, Bill
established Tough Teams to properly structure and save small companies. He
has reached out to thousands of people directly and through various
training organizations. A graduate in business and psychology from
Illinois Wesleyan University, Bill is also a certified ISO 9000 auditor.
He leverages his education and skills to help companies set up
self-managed teams along with Total Quality Management processes
Steve
Wille

executive positions with large corporations, Steve brings practical
expertise to our curriculum. His experience includes; Vice President of
Information Technology, Diners Club/Citigroup, Director of Applications

In managing software
development, Steve is known for action. He brings projects in on time, on
budget, and delights the customer. That is what usually happens, but Steve
has his share of experiences that did not quite live up to expectations.
His overall experience is what brings life to the workshops that he
co-authored at Tough Teams.
With an MBA from Regis University and a BSBA from the
University of Denver, Steve has a longtime commitment to education. He has
served on advisory boards for the University of Colorado, Regis
University, Denver Technical College, and DeVry University. He is also

which owns and operates three high schools in the Denver area.
